What you'll do
In this role, you will own business-critical systems that respond to signals from Waymo’s fleet, ensuring that the mapping infrastructure is robust and scalable. You will develop Mapping Change Detection systems that utilize a blend of machine learning and data analysis to maintain high-resolution maps essential for safe autonomous driving. Your contributions will include building backend infrastructure that supports the processing and distribution of map data, enabling seamless integration with other Waymo teams. You will also be responsible for tooling improvements and algorithm advancements that enhance the overall mapping stack. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of Waymo’s autonomous driving technology, making a significant contribution to the company's mission of transforming mobility.
What we offer
Waymo offers a competitive salary range of $204,000—$259,000 USD, along with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus program and an equity incentive plan.
