Who you are
You are a skilled translator with a strong command of both English and Korean, capable of delivering high-quality translations that resonate with the target audience. You have experience in creative writing and marketing, allowing you to adapt content effectively for different platforms and audiences. Your attention to detail ensures that all translations maintain the original message while being culturally relevant and engaging.
You possess excellent research skills, enabling you to gather necessary context and information to enhance your translations. You are comfortable working independently and managing your time effectively to meet project deadlines. Your ability to collaborate with team members and clients ensures that you can contribute positively to the success of the projects you work on.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of translation tasks for a prominent music streaming client, ensuring that all content is accurately translated from English to Korean. You will also be responsible for copy editing existing translations to enhance clarity and engagement. Your research skills will be crucial in understanding the context of the content and ensuring that it aligns with the brand's voice and marketing strategies.
You will work closely with project managers and other linguists to ensure that all deliverables meet the high standards expected by Welocalize and its clients. Your contributions will play a significant role in helping the client reach and engage their Korean-speaking audience effectively. You will also have the opportunity to provide feedback on processes and suggest improvements to enhance the quality of translations across projects.
