Who you are
You are an experienced language professional with a strong background in translation quality review, particularly in Japanese (Japan) content. You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring linguistic accuracy and natural language in customer service materials. Your expertise allows you to identify systemic machine translation quality issues, including recurring error patterns and tone mismatches, contributing to the overall quality of the content.
You possess the ability to provide high-level qualitative feedback that directly impacts final quality reporting and continuous improvement efforts. Your experience in conducting second-pass quality reviews ensures that all content aligns with project guidelines and maintains consistency across batches. You are comfortable working on an ad hoc basis, adapting to varying volumes and timing based on client needs.
What you'll do
In this role, you will conduct thorough quality reviews of Japanese customer service content, focusing on improving machine-translated materials. You will validate and calibrate severity assessments to maintain alignment with established quality standards. Your responsibilities will include identifying and addressing systemic quality issues, providing actionable feedback, and collaborating with project teams to enhance overall content quality.
You will engage in ongoing projects, contributing your expertise to refine customer service content and ensure it meets the highest standards of accuracy and natural language use. Your work will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of materials that support customer interactions, ultimately enhancing the user experience.
