Who you are
You are an experienced freelance translator and proofreader specializing in medical translations, particularly in the Life Sciences field. Your expertise includes working with Pharmacovigilance-related documents, ensuring accuracy and clarity in translations from Albanian to English. You have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of medical terminology, which allows you to deliver high-quality translations that meet the needs of leading pharmaceutical providers.
You are comfortable working independently and managing your time effectively, as this role offers flexibility in terms of workload. You are familiar with CAT tools, specifically XTM, which enhances your efficiency and consistency in translation projects. Your ability to adapt to different content types, including investigator-facing and patient-facing materials, makes you a valuable asset in the translation process.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for translating and proofreading a variety of medical documents, focusing on Pharmacovigilance. You will collaborate with pharmaceutical providers to ensure that all translations are accurate and meet industry standards. Your work will involve reviewing and editing translations to maintain high quality and consistency across all documents.
You will have the opportunity to work on an ongoing basis, with an expected volume of 1,000 to 2,000 words per week, allowing you to balance your workload according to your availability. This freelance position is fully remote, enabling you to work from anywhere in the world while contributing to important projects in the medical field.
