Who you are
You have a deep understanding of the nuances and idiomatic expressions in both Korean and English, allowing you to assess the quality of machine-translated lyrics effectively. Your attention to detail enables you to identify inaccuracies, awkward phrasing, and cultural inappropriateness in translations. You are capable of maintaining consistent and objective judgments throughout the review process, ensuring that the feedback you provide is constructive and valuable. You are familiar with various music genres and lyric styles, which enhances your ability to evaluate translations in context. Experience with online evaluation tools or platforms is a plus, as it can streamline your review process. You are eager to contribute to the improvement of automated translation systems through your insights and expertise.
What you'll do
In this role, you will review machine-translated song lyrics, focusing on their meaning, fluency, and naturalness. You will provide quality ratings based on predefined evaluation criteria, ensuring that the translations meet high standards. Your responsibilities will include identifying mistranslations, awkward expressions, and cultural inappropriateness, which will directly contribute to enhancing the performance of AI models. You will work flexibly, averaging about four hours a day, and you will have the opportunity to start as soon as possible. This is a long-term freelance project, allowing you to manage your schedule while contributing to meaningful work in the AI and music industries.
