You have a strong background in performance marketing, with at least 3-5 years of experience in managing paid media campaigns across various platforms. Your analytical mindset allows you to dive deep into data, extracting insights that drive decision-making and strategy. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with creative, data, and finance departments to validate and grow new sources of demand. Your hands-on approach means you enjoy experimenting with new channels and optimizing existing campaigns for better performance.
You are data-driven and thrive on the challenge of launching new performance programs. You have experience with tools like Google Ads and Facebook Ads, and you are proficient in Google Analytics for tracking and analyzing campaign performance. You understand the importance of A/B testing and are skilled at interpreting results to inform future strategies. Your ability to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders ensures that everyone is aligned on goals and objectives.

What you'll do
As a Performance Marketing Manager at Whatnot, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our marketing strategy. You will identify, test, and scale emerging paid media channels that can accelerate our growth. This involves executing campaign experiments, analyzing results, and building frameworks that enable Whatnot to expand beyond established platforms. You will report directly to the Head of Performance Marketing, ensuring that your insights and strategies align with the overall marketing objectives.
You will collaborate closely with channel leads to develop innovative marketing strategies that resonate with our target audience. Your role will involve a significant amount of data analysis, where you will assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make recommendations for optimization. You will also be responsible for managing budgets and ensuring that marketing spend is allocated efficiently to maximize ROI.
In addition to campaign management, you will be involved in developing creative briefs and working with the creative team to produce compelling ad content. Your ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior will inform your strategies, allowing you to stay ahead of the competition.
