Overview

Whatnot is seeking a Senior Design Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruiting for their Product Design and Creative teams. You'll partner closely with hiring managers to influence hiring decisions and source top design talent. This role requires strong recruiting skills and a consultative approach.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in recruiting, particularly in the design field, with experience managing the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to hiring. Your consultative approach allows you to effectively partner with hiring managers and business leaders to align recruiting strategies with broader business goals. You are innovative in your sourcing methods, exploring creative channels beyond traditional platforms to attract top design talent. You understand the nuances of the design industry and can identify candidates who not only fit the role but also align with the company culture. You are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, ensuring that all candidates feel valued and respected throughout the hiring process. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable adapting to the evolving needs of the business.

Desirable

Experience in a high-growth startup environment is a plus, as is familiarity with the latest trends in design and user experience. You may have a background in design yourself, which helps you better understand the needs of the teams you are recruiting for. A network of design professionals can also be beneficial in sourcing candidates.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the hiring efforts for Whatnot's Product Design and Creative teams, ensuring that the company attracts and retains top talent in the design space. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies that align with their goals. Your responsibilities will include sourcing candidates through various channels, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process from start to finish.
