Job Description
Who you are
You have extensive experience in human resources, particularly in leading transformation initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational culture. Your background includes working closely with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the mission of a nonprofit organization. You are adept at managing complex projects and have a strong understanding of the systems and practices that drive effective people operations.
You possess a deep understanding of compensation and total rewards systems, performance management, and HR information systems. Your ability to analyze data and report on key metrics will be crucial in driving informed decision-making within the People department. You are a collaborative leader who values inclusivity and fosters a culture of belonging within the workplace.
You are passionate about creating a stellar employee experience and positioning your organization as an employer of choice. Your experience in the nonprofit, technology, or advocacy fields gives you a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities in these sectors. Desirable

What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the People Department's systems updates and innovations, ensuring that the policies and practices are aligned with the Foundation's mission. You will work closely with the Chief People Officer and other senior leaders to develop strategies that enhance the remote work environment and foster a positive people culture. Your leadership will guide a team responsible for overseeing key projects that impact the employee experience.
You will represent the People Department in cross-department projects and working groups, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that HR initiatives are integrated into the broader organizational strategy. Your role will involve driving the transition process for newly developed systems into their long-term sub-department homes, ensuring a seamless implementation.
You will also be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of HR systems and practices, using data analytics to inform improvements and adjustments. Your insights will help shape the Foundation's approach to people operations, ensuring that it remains responsive to the needs of employees and aligned with organizational goals.
