Aeva is hiring a Senior PCBA Test Engineer to join their test engineering team. You'll work at the intersection of DFT, debug, and high-volume production testing. This position requires experience in embedded systems and electrical engineering.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in PCBA testing and debugging, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Your expertise lies in high-volume ICT and FCT production testing, and you are well-versed in design for test (DFT) methodologies. You possess a solid understanding of embedded systems and electrical engineering principles, allowing you to effectively troubleshoot and optimize testing processes.

You are detail-oriented and have a knack for problem-solving, which enables you to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions. Your experience with various testing tools and methodologies has equipped you with the skills necessary to ensure the highest quality standards in product testing. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to drive product success.

What you'll do

As a Senior PCBA Test Engineer at Aeva, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans for our innovative LiDAR products. You will work closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure that all products meet rigorous quality standards before they reach production. Your role will involve debugging and optimizing test processes, as well as implementing design for test strategies to enhance product reliability.

You will lead high-volume production testing efforts, ensuring that all products are thoroughly tested and validated. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying potential issues early in the development process, allowing for timely resolutions and minimizing production delays. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
