Clutch is hiring a Senior Manager, Sales to build and scale their sales motion for a new vertical. You'll lead a team focused on new customer acquisition and complex deal management. This role requires strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales management, particularly in building and scaling sales teams in new markets. Your experience includes navigating ambiguity and refining strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth. You thrive in collaborative environments and are motivated by the challenge of leading a team through the complexities of a new vertical.
You possess strong coaching skills, enabling you to guide your team of Growth and AI Account Executives effectively. Your ability to close complex deals and shape repeatable, value-based sales processes is essential for success in this role. You understand the importance of translating customer insights into actionable strategies and are adept at balancing immediate execution with long-term growth objectives.
What you'll do
In your first few months, you will build a deep understanding of Clutch's sales motion and the new vertical you will be focusing on. You will lead your team in acquiring new customers, emphasizing the importance of thoughtful coaching and shared accountability. Your role will involve collaborating closely with Product and cross-functional leaders to ensure that customer insights inform your sales strategies.
You will be responsible for defining how Clutch wins in this new market, which includes testing and refining sales strategies based on real customer conversations. You will also oversee the development of a sales process that is adaptable and responsive to the evolving needs of the market. As a leader, you will foster a culture of curiosity and adaptability within your team, encouraging them to learn from each interaction and iterate on their approaches.
