Who you are
You are an experienced engineer with a strong background in aerospace and defense, bringing a unique blend of technical expertise and customer engagement skills. With a proven track record in project management, you thrive in roles that require collaboration with sales teams to drive account growth and retention. Your digital fluency and enthusiasm for the aerospace industry make you a perfect fit for this position. You understand the challenges faced by manufacturers and can proactively identify and address potential manufacturing challenges, including Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
You have a charismatic personality that allows you to connect with clients effectively, ensuring that their needs are met while also providing valuable insights from your engineering background. Your ability to digest and organize complex information enables you to execute major projects successfully. You are comfortable working in a customer-facing role and enjoy the dynamic nature of engaging with clients and stakeholders.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner with Account Executives to drive account growth and retention, leveraging your engineering expertise to support sales efforts. You will join Account Executives on onsite visits with customers when appropriate, providing technical insights and addressing any concerns they may have. Your responsibilities will include staying informed about upcoming customer projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with their needs. You will proactively identify and address potential manufacturing challenges, ensuring that solutions are tailored to meet customer requirements.
You will play a critical role in the Pre-Sales Engineering community, collaborating closely with both Sales and Operations teams. Your insights from the front lines of the aerospace and defense engineering and manufacturing community will be invaluable in shaping the solutions offered to clients. You will be expected to provide feedback and share knowledge that can enhance the overall customer experience and drive successful project outcomes.
