You are an experienced engineer with a strong background in the aerospace and defense sectors. With a proven track record in customer engagement, you excel at providing technical insights and solutions that drive account growth and retention. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart, allowing you to bridge the gap between engineering and sales. You are enthusiastic about the aerospace industry and possess a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and challenges.
You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working closely with Account Executives to identify and address customer needs. Your project management skills enable you to organize and execute major projects efficiently, ensuring alignment with customer initiatives. You stay informed about industry trends and upcoming projects, proactively identifying potential manufacturing challenges and solutions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner with Account Executives to drive account growth and retention by providing critical insights from the aerospace and defense engineering community. You will engage with customers to understand their needs and challenges, offering tailored solutions that leverage Xometry's digital marketplace. Your responsibilities will include joining Account Executives on onsite visits to foster relationships and address customer inquiries directly.
You will be responsible for discovering, illuminating, digesting, and organizing major projects, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed. Your technical expertise will be crucial in identifying and addressing manufacturing challenges, including Design for Manufacturing (DFM) considerations. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of Xometry's offerings by providing feedback based on your interactions with customers and insights gained from the field.
