You have a proven track record in account management, ideally with experience in technology or cloud-native solutions. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients is key — you understand their needs and can effectively communicate how YugabyteDB can meet them. You are results-driven and thrive in a sales environment, consistently meeting or exceeding targets. Your strong communication skills allow you to articulate complex technical concepts in a way that resonates with diverse audiences.
You are adaptable and can navigate the challenges of a fast-evolving market. You stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings, which helps you position YugabyteDB effectively. Your collaborative spirit enables you to work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and marketing, to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
Desirable
Experience in the database or cloud technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with PostgreSQL or distributed databases. You may have a background in sales engineering or technical sales, which enhances your ability to address customer inquiries and technical requirements.
What you'll do
As an Account Manager at Yugabyte, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of enterprise clients, guiding them through the adoption of YugabyteDB. You will engage with customers to understand their business challenges and demonstrate how our solutions can drive their success. Your role will involve conducting product demonstrations, providing technical support, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
You will collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for customer engagement and retention. This includes identifying upsell opportunities and working to expand Yugabyte's footprint within existing accounts.
