Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience in SaaS sales or upsell roles, ideally with a focus on horizontal platforms and automation solutions. Your background includes working with AI tools, and you understand the nuances of customer engagement through various channels such as Live Chat, Calls, and Email. You are located in India and can work from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am IST to ensure overlap with North American colleagues. You are committed to using AI tools responsibly and transparently, aligning with Zapier's values.
Desirable
Experience in a fast-growing, impact-driven company is a plus. Familiarity with automation tools and a strong understanding of customer needs will help you excel in this role. You are a proactive communicator who can drive customer engagement and sales cycles effectively.
What you'll do
As the Manager of Sales Assist, you will lead a team that serves as the primary sales point-of-contact for customers evaluating and purchasing Zapier's products. Your role will involve proactive engagement with existing customers based on product signals to drive expansion and faster sales cycles. You will collaborate closely with the Sales and Customer Success organization to ensure that teams and organizations successfully adopt and scale their use of Zapier's automation solutions. You will also be responsible for mentoring your team, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring that customer feedback is integrated into product development.
