Who you are
You have a proven track record in an enterprise sales role with over 5 years of experience, specifically selling complex SaaS end-to-end solutions in the Benelux market. You are a motivated and independent individual who thrives in a team environment, enjoying collaboration with colleagues across various departments. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to build strong relationships with clients and partners alike. You are not just a salesperson; you are a strategic thinker who understands the nuances of the financial technology landscape and can creatively drive innovation for merchants in retail, digital, platforms, and financial services. You are comfortable with travel and networking, as approximately 25% of your time will be spent engaging with clients and industry leaders.
Desirable
Experience working with international merchants and a deep understanding of the financial technology sector will set you apart. Familiarity with the latest trends in payments and financial solutions is a plus, as is a passion for helping businesses achieve their ambitions faster through innovative solutions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the full sales cycle with our largest merchants, starting from the prospecting stage all the way to closing deals. You will become an expert in selling Adyen's world-class financial solutions, ensuring that you understand the unique needs of each client. You will partner closely with technology leaders and solution providers, working in tandem with our Sales Support, Implementation, and Account Management teams to deliver exceptional service. Your role will involve creatively driving innovation for merchants, helping them navigate the complexities of payment solutions. You will also be responsible for maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and success with our products.
