You have over 7 years of experience in Fraud Management or a related field, with a strong emphasis on analytics. Your background includes developing strategies for monitoring and preventing fraud, and you are adept at advising on best practices that align with risk management goals. You possess advanced data analytics skills that enable you to identify loss drivers and derive actionable insights to optimize fraud management strategies. You are comfortable reporting on fraud trends and loss drivers to cross-functional partners and senior management, ensuring that communication is clear and effective.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with operations teams to limit losses and ensure optimal review volumes. Your experience includes evaluating and developing new features or signals that enhance fraud detection capabilities. You are also passionate about coaching and mentoring junior team members, helping them grow in their roles and contribute effectively to the team's goals.

Desirable

Experience with machine learning techniques and tools is a plus, as is familiarity with data visualization tools that can help present complex data in an understandable manner. You are proactive in your approach, quickly responding to fraud rings and ensuring that issues raised by other teams are addressed in a timely manner.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop and implement strategies for monitoring and preventing fraud across Affirm's network. You will leverage your expertise in data analytics to identify loss drivers and derive insights that will inform and optimize fraud management strategies. Reporting on fraud trends and loss drivers will be a key responsibility, as you will need to communicate findings to cross-functional partners and senior management effectively.

You will work closely with the operations team to limit losses and ensure that review volumes are optimal. Your role will also involve assisting with the evaluation and development of new external or internal features and signals to improve fraud detection capabilities. As a senior member of the team, you will participate in team planning and goal setting, providing guidance and mentorship to more junior team members.
