Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a focus on fraud prevention or risk management — you've successfully led product roadmaps and understand the complexities of building systems that protect users while enhancing their experience. Your ability to navigate organizational dynamics and manage stakeholders effectively is a key strength, allowing you to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Fraud Analytics, and Compliance.
You are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in environments where you can engage in technical discussions — your analytical mindset helps you define and establish metrics that drive product success. You have a strong understanding of machine learning models and how they can be applied to fraud prevention, enabling you to contribute to the development of scalable infrastructure that supports Affirm’s growth.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own Affirm's fraud product roadmap, orchestrating efforts across customer-facing use cases, decision platforms, and vendors. You will build scalable fraud prevention infrastructure that supports Affirm’s growth across merchants, consumers, and international markets. Your responsibilities will include driving product development by partnering closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Operations, and Customer Support teams to ensure that fraud prevention measures are integrated into the user experience.
You will define and establish metrics that measure the effectiveness of fraud prevention strategies, ensuring that they align with Affirm's mission of providing a friendly and honest credit experience. As you expand Affirm's geographical markets and product offerings, your role will be critical in enabling the scaling of systems and policies that keep Affirm safe for consumers and merchants worldwide.
What we offer

We offer competitive compensation packages, including salary and benefits that reflect our commitment to our employees. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your contributions directly impact the safety and satisfaction of our users.
