Who you are
You have experience in market management or a related field, ideally with a focus on supply acquisition and relationship management. You understand the importance of building strong connections with hosts and have a proven track record of driving market success. Your resourcefulness and self-sufficiency enable you to thrive in a dynamic environment, and you are fluent in English, allowing you to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Desirable
Experience in the travel or hospitality industry is a plus, as is familiarity with data-driven decision-making processes. You are comfortable working with various teams and can adapt your strategies to meet the unique needs of different markets. Your ability to think strategically and execute tactically will be essential in this role.
What you'll do
As a Market Manager at Airbnb, you will be responsible for the supply health and growth in key markets across Australia and New Zealand. You will manage professional host accounts and focus on acquiring high-quality inventory to enhance Airbnb's offerings. Your role will involve developing and implementing acquisition strategies, generating and converting supply leads, and managing relationships with strategic partners. You will collaborate with other teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market growth and success.
You will also help develop scalable localized supply management strategies tailored to both developed and competitive market destinations as well as nascent and relatively untapped new markets. Your insights and expertise will be crucial in driving Airbnb's long-term market presence and ensuring that hosts feel supported and valued.
