Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the public sector, with a focus on national security. Your experience includes managing complex sales cycles and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. You understand the intricacies of the AWS ecosystem and can articulate its value to customers. You possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, which is essential for this role. Your ability to think strategically and execute go-to-market plans has led to significant revenue growth in your previous positions.
You are adept at developing account strategies that align AWS capabilities with customer mission requirements. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively engage with executive-level decision-makers, ensuring that you understand their business objectives and can position AWS solutions accordingly. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working as part of a team that is committed to delivering exceptional results for customers.
Desirable
Experience in the Space & Sensors portfolio is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud services adoption in national security contexts. You are comfortable navigating complex organizational structures and can influence stakeholders at all levels. A background in technology sales, particularly in cloud computing, will set you apart.
What you'll do
In this role, you will drive revenue growth and customer acquisition by managing the full sales cycle for strategic National Security accounts. This includes prospecting and qualification through contract negotiation and closure. You will build and maintain executive relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within assigned accounts to understand their business objectives and position AWS solutions effectively. You will develop and execute account strategies that align AWS capabilities with customer mission requirements, driving the adoption of cloud services across your territory.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business development, technical solutions architecture, and specialist teams, to ensure that customer needs are met and exceeded. Your role will involve analyzing market trends and customer feedback to refine strategies and improve service offerings. You will also be responsible for reporting on sales performance and providing insights to senior management.
