Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in a technical account management or customer-facing technical role, ideally within cloud computing or enterprise technology. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively represent AWS within a customerβs environment, driving discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents and support. You possess a deep understanding of AWS services and best practices, allowing you to craft and execute strategies that drive customer adoption and satisfaction.
Your technical acumen spans various AWS technologies, including Compute, Storage, Database, Machine Learning, and Security. You are adept at understanding customer needs and translating them into actionable strategies that enhance their operational efficiency. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with customers to ensure their AWS environments remain operationally healthy.
Desirable
Experience with National Security or government customers is a plus, as is familiarity with compliance and security best practices in cloud environments. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and providing solutions before they escalate, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
What you'll do
As a Senior Technical Account Manager at AWS, you will serve as the strategic technical advisor for National Security customers, helping them leverage AWS services to achieve their goals. You will engage with customers to understand their business and operational needs, providing advocacy and guidance on best practices for AWS usage. Your role will involve crafting tailored strategies that drive customer adoption of services like EC2, S3, and Lambda, ensuring they gain maximum value from their AWS investments.
You will facilitate discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management, acting as the voice of the customer within AWS. Your close relationships with customers will allow you to proactively address their technical challenges and operational needs, ensuring their AWS environments are healthy and optimized. You will also be responsible for monitoring customer environments, providing insights and recommendations to enhance their AWS usage.

Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
