Amazon is hiring a Business Development professional for their Last Mile Logistics Channels to oversee the expansion of business partnerships in the delivery sector. You'll work on identifying and onboarding new business partners to enhance package delivery services in your assigned area.
Job Description
Who you are
You have experience in business development or a related field, with a strong focus on building partnerships and expanding business opportunities. You are comfortable working in the field, identifying potential partners, and establishing relationships that drive growth. Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to clarify expectations and maintain strong connections with partners. You are detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple partnerships simultaneously, ensuring that each partner is supported and engaged. You understand the logistics industry and are eager to contribute to improving delivery processes and customer satisfaction.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work in the field to identify and affiliate new businesses within your assigned territory. You will manage and monitor 45 to 50 partners, ensuring they are effectively integrated into Amazon's delivery network. Your responsibilities will include identifying opportunities for improvement in the delivery process and maintaining regular communication with affiliated businesses. You will conduct periodic visits to these businesses to foster relationships and ensure their needs are met. Additionally, you will create heat maps to visualize areas within your territory that require new business affiliations, helping to strategically expand Amazon's logistics capabilities.
