Desirable
Experience with diesel generators, UPS systems, and three-phase electrical systems is a plus. What you'll do
As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical systems that support our data centers. You will work on stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems, ensuring they are operational and ready to support our mission-critical facilities. Your role will involve hands-on work with three-phase electrical systems, including switch gear, UPSs, PDUs, and wet cell batteries. You will also be involved in maintaining cooling systems, such as CRAC units, centrifugal chillers, and cooling towers, ensuring that our facilities remain at optimal operating temperatures. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists, contributing to the overall success of AWS Infrastructure Services. Your expertise will help us achieve our goal of maintaining an extraordinary 99.999% uptime, keeping the digital world running smoothly.
