Your experience includes working with diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, and various cooling systems, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they escalate. Desirable
Experience with AWS infrastructure services is a plus, as is familiarity with data center operations and maintenance practices. You may have certifications or training in electrical or mechanical engineering, which will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical systems that support Amazon's data centers. You will work with standby diesel generators, UPS systems, PDUs, and various cooling systems, ensuring that all equipment operates at peak efficiency. Your hands-on expertise will be crucial in diagnosing and resolving issues quickly to minimize downtime. You will collaborate closely with other technicians and engineers to implement preventive maintenance strategies and improve operational processes. You will also participate in training sessions to stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in data center management. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and performance of Amazon's global infrastructure, helping to deliver seamless digital experiences to customers worldwide.
