What you'll do

As a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting critical electrical and mechanical systems within the data center — your role is essential in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and reliably. You will conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on systems such as generators, cooling towers, and air handlers to prevent downtime.

You will work closely with other technicians and engineers to resolve issues as they arise — your hands-on approach will allow you to quickly diagnose problems and implement effective solutions. You will also be involved in the operation of mission-critical facilities, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally and that safety protocols are followed.

In addition to maintenance and troubleshooting, you will assist in the planning and execution of upgrades and improvements to the data center infrastructure — your insights will help shape the future of AWS's operational capabilities.
