What you'll do
As a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting mission-critical facilities — this includes working with stand-by diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, and cooling equipment. You will ensure that all systems are operational and that any issues are resolved swiftly to maintain uptime.
You will collaborate with other technicians and engineers to support AWS data centers — your role is crucial in keeping the cloud infrastructure running, which powers global digital experiences. You will engage in hands-on work, operating and maintaining equipment such as UPSs, PDUs, and air handlers, ensuring that all systems function optimally.
Your responsibilities will also include monitoring systems for performance and reliability — you will be the first line of defense when it comes to troubleshooting any electrical or mechanical issues that arise. Your expertise will directly contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the data center operations.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive starting pay ranging from $31.00 to $55.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
