Job Description

Who you are

You are a hands-on technician with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems — you thrive in environments where you can troubleshoot and maintain critical infrastructure. Your experience includes working with diesel generators, UPS systems, and three-phase electrical systems, ensuring that all equipment operates smoothly and efficiently. You understand the importance of uptime in data centers and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical systems that support Amazon's data centers — your work will directly contribute to the reliability of AWS infrastructure. You will operate and maintain mission-critical facilities, ensuring that all systems, including generators and cooling towers, are functioning optimally. You will also be involved in hands-on troubleshooting, addressing any issues that arise in real-time to minimize downtime.

You will collaborate with a team of engineers to implement best practices for data center operations — your insights will help improve processes and enhance system performance. You will participate in regular maintenance checks and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational protocols. Your role is vital in supporting the infrastructure that powers global digital experiences, and you will play a key part in ensuring that our customers have uninterrupted access to the services they rely on.
