What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the data center’s critical physical infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. You will manage on-site teams of 24x7 shift technicians, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring that all work performed adheres to established practices, procedures, and safety protocols. Your responsibilities will include driving a culture of safety and security compliance within the team, as well as maintaining service level agreements to meet customer expectations.

You will be responsible for hiring, coaching, and promoting team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages bold ideas and empowers individuals to take ownership of their work. You will collaborate with various teams across AWS to address challenges and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Your role will be critical in maintaining the infrastructure that supports AWS's global operations, ensuring that customers have continual access to the services they rely on.
