Experience with Lean methodologies and process change initiatives is a plus. Familiarity with budget management and operational planning will help you excel in this role. You are proactive in sharing best practices across departments and shifts, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, driving performance and ensuring that all operational objectives are met. Your role will involve setting and clarifying requirements for your team, measuring performance, and providing feedback to hold team members accountable.

You will take the lead in creating and implementing quality initiatives and process changes that enable your functional area to meet and exceed business plans. Your focus on safety, quality, and customer experience will be paramount as you manage either Inbound or Outbound operations. You will work closely with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and other Senior Operations Managers to secure support and resources for projects and initiatives.

Your proactive approach will ensure that best practices are shared across all departments and shifts, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and improvement. You will be instrumental in building leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center, coaching and mentoring your team to achieve their full potential.
