You proactively identify best practices and share them across departments to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery. Your collaborative approach allows you to work effectively with support staff from HR, Finance, and other departments to secure resources for projects and initiatives.

What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching them to achieve their performance goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will drive the creation of quality initiatives and process change initiatives, ensuring that your functional area meets and exceeds business plans.

You will set and clarify requirements for your team, measuring performance and providing feedback to hold them accountable. Your role will involve leveraging the ideas of your team to create improvement plans that enhance operational efficiency. You will take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments and shifts, contributing to a cohesive operational strategy.

In addition to managing daily operations, you will collaborate closely with support staff to build and secure the necessary support and resources for various projects. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships will be crucial as you work to enhance the overall performance and safety of the Fulfillment Center.
