What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, driving performance and ensuring that all operational objectives are met. Your role will involve setting and clarifying requirements for your team, measuring performance, and providing feedback to ensure accountability. You will also be responsible for creating and implementing quality initiatives and process changes that align with business goals.

You will work closely with support staff from HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, and IT to build and secure the necessary resources for your initiatives. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, where ideas are sourced from your team and rolled into actionable improvement plans. You will take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, contributing to a cohesive and efficient operational environment.
