Who you are
You are an analytical thinker with a proven track record in developing and executing growth strategies. Your experience in sales operations allows you to lead a newly created ad sales strategy and planning function effectively. You thrive in articulating complex concepts to cross-functional audiences, leveraging internal metrics and industry trends to support your recommendations.
You have a strong ability to build relationships across various teams, including sales, operations, product, marketing, finance, and HR. Your detail-oriented approach and entrepreneurial thinking enable you to define multi-year operating plans that align with the goals of the global ad sales division. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize effectively to meet ambitious targets.
Desirable
Experience in digital advertising or a related field would be beneficial. Familiarity with data-driven insights and creative formats in advertising is a plus. You should also be adaptable to working across different time zones and cultures, given the global nature of the role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will build relationships with key stakeholders to define and execute multi-year operating plans for the global division of ad sales. You will own quarterly business reviews, guiding finance, sales, and strategy leads in compiling comprehensive documents for ad sales VPs. Your responsibilities will include defining metrics to measure success and ensuring alignment across teams to hit these goals.
You will inspect and remove blockers as teams execute on their objectives, ensuring that the sales team can better serve advertisers. Your analytical skills will be crucial in developing internal relationships and aligning various teams on the inputs needed to achieve success. You will also be responsible for educating and supporting advertisers, leveraging Amazon's data-driven insights to enhance their brand growth.
