What you'll do

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud, working closely with AWS teams to ensure a successful rollout. Your responsibilities will include enhancing day-to-day operations and ensuring improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of the ESC. You will collaborate with technology leaders to influence the evolution of AWS services and technology, ensuring they meet the needs of EU customers. Your role will also involve participating in on-call rotations to resolve incidents that occur outside of regular hours, ensuring that high-availability services are maintained. You will lead operations and development teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the AWS Managed Operations team.
