Who you are

You have a strong background in sales, particularly in the federal sector, with a focus on consultative sales strategies. Your experience includes building relationships with key decision-makers and understanding the complexities of government operations, especially within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. You are adept at developing strategic account plans that align with client priorities and modernization initiatives, ensuring that you can effectively drive revenue growth.

Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders is one of your key strengths. You understand the importance of maintaining high standards of security and compliance in all interactions and proposals. You are a proactive problem-solver who can navigate the intricacies of federal procurement processes and adapt to the evolving needs of your clients.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business and revenue growth within the VA, owning the full sales cycle from initial outreach through deployment. You will build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across various VA program offices, including the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), and National Cemetery Administration (NCA). Your consultative approach will help you become a trusted partner to your customers, assisting them in embedding and deploying AI solutions effectively.

You will collaborate closely with go-to-market, product, and marketing teams to refine Anthropic's approach to the VA ecosystem. This includes understanding the specific needs and challenges faced by the VA and tailoring solutions that meet those requirements. Your role will also involve coordinating with cloud service providers and VA IT to ensure seamless integration of AI technologies into existing systems.
