Who you are
You have a strong background in consultative sales, particularly within the federal sector, and a deep understanding of the U.S. Department of Energy's mission areas, including energy security and scientific research. Your experience in building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers enables you to effectively drive new business and revenue growth. You are adept at developing strategic account plans that align with organizational priorities and have a proven track record of owning the full sales cycle from initial outreach through deployment.
You are a collaborative team player who works closely with cross-functional teams, including product and marketing, to refine approaches to the DOE ecosystem. Your ability to coordinate with cloud service providers and national laboratory IT organizations ensures successful implementation of AI solutions. You are committed to maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance in all your dealings.
What you'll do
In this role, you will drive new business and revenue growth within the Department of Energy, owning the full sales cycle from initial outreach through deployment. You will build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across DOE program offices and national lab leadership, ensuring that you understand their needs and how AI can support their missions. You will develop and execute strategic account plans that align with DOE priorities, coordinating closely with cloud service providers and national laboratory IT organizations to ensure successful implementation of AI solutions.
You will collaborate with the go-to-market, product, and marketing teams to refine Anthropic's approach to the DOE ecosystem, ensuring that all efforts are aligned with the organization's mission and compliance standards. Your role will also involve uncovering the full range of AI capabilities and helping customers embed and deploy these technologies effectively. You will be a trusted partner to your customers, guiding them through the adoption of safe and beneficial AI systems.
