Who you are

You have 2-5 years of experience in an inside sales or sales development role, demonstrating a proactive and detail-oriented approach to supporting sales teams. Your background includes familiarity with lead generation and outreach, where you've successfully qualified leads through various channels. You possess strong organizational skills, allowing you to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

You are comfortable using CRM systems to update and maintain accurate records, ensuring that all information is current and actionable. Your communication skills enable you to clearly convey schedules and objectives during meeting coordination, and you excel at capturing critical insights during discussions. You understand the importance of collaboration with internal teams, such as engineering and finance, to facilitate timely processing of sales paperwork.

Desirable

Experience in the aerospace, defense, or technology sectors is preferred, as is a background in high-growth startup environments. You are adaptable and thrive in fast-paced settings, ready to take on challenges that come with supporting a dynamic sales team.

What you'll do

As an Inside Sales Coordinator, you will serve as the primary liaison between the sales team and potential customers, coordinating meetings and capturing key insights. Your responsibilities will include conducting proactive outreach to qualify leads via phone, email, and other digital channels. You will schedule introductory and follow-up meetings between sales representatives and prospective customers, ensuring that all parties are well-prepared.

You will attend meetings to actively capture notes, key discussion points, and action items, which will be essential for maintaining accurate sales documentation. Additionally, you will prepare sales documents, including proposals, quotes, and change orders, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely processing.

Your role will also involve generating weekly and monthly reports on lead conversion rates, meeting outcomes, and sales pipeline status. You will identify trends and propose solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team, contributing to the overall success of the business development efforts.
