Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in hardware design verification, with experience in verifying complex systems such as custom IP blocks and full-chip SoCs. Your expertise in defining verification plans based on architecture and microarchitecture specifications sets you apart. You are proficient in developing constrained-random, directed, and system-level testbenches using SystemVerilog and UVM or equivalent methodologies. You understand the importance of high coverage and correctness in verification and have experience building and maintaining stimulus generators, checkers, monitors, and scoreboards.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with architecture, RTL, software, and systems teams to deliver reliable silicon at scale. Your analytical skills enable you to drive bug triage and root cause analysis effectively. What you'll do

In this role, you will own the verification of one or more custom IP blocks, subsystems, or full-chip SoC-level functionality. You will define verification plans based on detailed architecture and microarchitecture specifications, ensuring that all aspects of the design are thoroughly tested. You will develop and implement constrained-random, directed, and system-level testbenches using SystemVerilog and UVM methodologies, contributing to the overall quality and reliability of the silicon.

You will build and maintain stimulus generators, checkers, monitors, and scoreboards to ensure high coverage and correctness in your verification efforts. Your role will involve driving bug triage and conducting root cause analysis, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve the design process. You will play a key role in shaping the future of AI-native silicon, contributing to the development of advanced AI workloads and ensuring that OpenAI's hardware meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.
