Overview

Apple is hiring an ASIC Design Engineer to design and integrate interconnect fabrics into SoCs. You'll work closely with multi-disciplinary teams and require expertise in RTL development and interconnect architectures. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a minimum of a BS degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in ASIC design. Your expertise lies in RTL development, and you are familiar with various interconnect architectures, including NoC topologies and crossbars. You possess strong organizational skills and can coordinate multiple tasks in parallel to meet tight schedules while ensuring high-quality designs. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with other designers and cross-functional teams to deliver results. Your understanding of system memory hierarchy and power/performance verification is essential for this role.

What you'll do

As an ASIC Design Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for the design and integration of coherent and non-coherent fabrics into subsystems or SoCs. You will own all aspects of RTL development, including design, templating, scripting, and RTL generation. Collaborating with front-end synthesis and STA teams, you will ensure that timing requirements for your blocks are met. You will also work with power/performance and functional verification teams to maintain the highest quality standards throughout the design process. Your role will involve integrating common/shared IP blocks and optimizing memories and hard macros required for your designs. You will be expected to maintain close working relationships with various groups to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components.
