Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience in CPU design. Your experience includes working with timing closure and collaborating with implementation teams to ensure project success. You are skilled in script writing and debugging in languages such as Python, TCL, or Perl, which you have used to enhance analysis flows and engineer efficiency.
You possess a strong understanding of high-performance CPU designs and timing analysis methodologies. Your background includes working with CAD teams to develop timing flows, and you are comfortable driving timing closure in collaboration with CPU micro-architects and implementation engineers. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to innovative projects.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of timing within CPU design projects. You will work closely with the CAD team to develop and refine the timing flow used in the project, employing your scripting skills to improve analysis processes. Your collaboration with CPU micro-architects will be crucial as you drive timing closure, ensuring that all timing requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
