You have over 10 years of experience in CPU design and timing analysis, demonstrating a deep understanding of static timing analysis tools such as PrimeTime and Tempus. Your expertise includes working with multiple clock and power domains, as well as addressing noise issues in designs. You are skilled in variation modeling and have a proven track record of driving timing closure in complex projects.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with CAD teams, CPU micro-architects, and implementation engineers to develop and refine timing flows. Your ability to script and automate processes enhances analysis efficiency and contributes to overall project success. What you'll do
As a Senior CPU Design Timing Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for all aspects of timing closure for CPU projects. This includes collaborating with the CAD team to develop the timing flow used in the project, ensuring that all timing requirements are met. You will engage in scripting to improve analysis flows and engineer efficiency, making a significant impact on project outcomes.
