What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for power analysis and optimisation of Apple’s GPU products. You will simulate the power consumption of components within the GPU under various workloads and analyse the data to identify opportunities for improving energy efficiency. Collaborating closely with design and implementation teams, you will work on making improvements to the logic throughout the development process.

You will be using RTL and gate level simulations, emulation, and power analysis tools to generate data, and you will analyse that data using scripts, power models, spreadsheets, and machine learning techniques. Summarising and presenting your conclusions and recommendations to the team will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you drive the optimisation of GPU logic and enhance methodologies.
