Job Description
Who you are
You have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience in physical design and timing analysis. Your experience with large design STA and timing closure has equipped you with the skills to tackle complex challenges in SOC design. You possess programming skills in Perl and TCL, which you have utilized to create scripts and methodologies for analysis and runs. Your hands-on experience in STA allows you to effectively debug constraints and facilitate logic changes to improve timing. You are familiar with the important aspects of timing for large designs and understand the intricacies involved in the physical implementation process.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be directly responsible for the physical implementation of design partitions from netlist to tapeout for highly complex SOCs. You will collaborate with design teams to understand and debug constraints, ensuring that timing issues are addressed effectively. Your responsibilities will include creating timing ECOs for project tapeout and maintaining scripts and methodologies for analysis and runs. You will also be tasked with deep analysis of timing paths to identify key issues and implementing timing infrastructure. Your contributions will be crucial in highlighting issues and best practices within the Physical Design team, ultimately leading to successful project outcomes.
