Job Description
Who you are
You have a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience in physical design, particularly with large design STA and timing closure. Your expertise in scripting languages like Perl and TCL allows you to create and maintain methodologies for analysis and runs effectively. You are familiar with the intricacies of timing paths and can identify key issues through deep analysis. Your hands-on experience in STA equips you with the skills to facilitate logic changes and improve timing in collaboration with design teams.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the physical implementation of design partitions from netlist to tapeout for highly complex SOCs. You will work closely with design teams to understand and debug constraints, facilitating necessary logic changes to enhance timing. Your role will involve creating timing ECOs for project tapeout and implementing timing infrastructure to ensure successful outcomes. You will also be tasked with creating documentation and guidelines to support best practices within the Physical Design team. Your contributions will directly impact the delivery of groundbreaking Apple products, as you highlight issues and collaborate with various teams to achieve optimal results.
