Job Description
Who you are
You have a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience in physical design, particularly with SOCs, and a strong programming background in TCL. Your expertise includes working with large design STA and timing closure, and you have a deep understanding of timing paths and constraints. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with design teams to debug and facilitate logic changes that enhance timing performance.
Your experience with high-performance SOC designs in sub-micron technologies has equipped you with the skills to create and maintain scripts and methodologies for analysis and runs. You are detail-oriented, capable of conducting deep analyses of timing paths to identify key issues, and you have a proven track record of implementing timing infrastructure effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be directly responsible for the physical implementation of design partitions from netlist to tapeout for highly complex SOCs. You will collaborate with design teams to understand and debug constraints, facilitating necessary logic changes to improve timing. Your responsibilities will also include creating timing ECOs for project tapeout and maintaining documentation and guidelines to ensure best practices are followed.
You will work closely with the Physical Design team, highlighting issues and sharing best practices to enhance the overall design process. Your role will involve creating and maintaining scripts for analysis and runs, ensuring that the timing infrastructure is robust and efficient. You will be expected to conduct deep analyses of timing paths, identifying key issues that could impact the performance of the SOC designs.
