Overview

AppZen is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to drive customer acquisition and expand relationships within Fortune 1000 accounts. You'll work closely with finance teams in the AP Automation and Spend Management space. This role requires experience in strategic account planning and sales.

Who you are

You are a highly motivated and strategic Enterprise Account Executive with experience selling into finance teams, particularly in the AP Automation or Spend Management space. You have a proven track record of acquiring new customers and expanding relationships within existing accounts, especially within Fortune 1000 companies. Your ability to plan strategically and prospect effectively allows you to identify new opportunities and meet or exceed sales quotas consistently.

You thrive in a high-impact role where you own the full sales cycle—from pipeline creation through contract signature. You are comfortable working with finance executives, procurement leaders, and strategic partners to drive the adoption of innovative solutions. Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate the value of AppZen’s offerings clearly and persuasively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers and expanding relationships within existing Fortune 1000 accounts. You will engage in solid territory and strategic account planning, prospecting to identify new and additional opportunities. Your success will be measured by your ability to meet and ideally exceed your sales quota. You will own the full sales cycle, which includes creating a robust pipeline, engaging with potential clients, and guiding them through the decision-making process until contract signature.

You will collaborate closely with finance executives and procurement leaders to understand their unique spend profiles and demonstrate how AppZen’s solutions can enhance their processes. Your role will involve not only selling but also educating clients on the benefits of automating their spend-to-pay processes. You will leverage your expertise to help organizations make smarter business decisions based on real-time data.
