Job Description
Who you are
You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a consultative selling environment. Your deep understanding of the Martech and DXP ecosystems allows you to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, ensuring that you can articulate the value of Contentful's solutions. You excel in value-based selling and are well-versed in the MEDPICC sales methodology, which you apply throughout the sales cycle to ensure stakeholder alignment and forecast accuracy.
You are a strategic thinker who can develop robust account strategies and pipeline management informed by a comprehensive understanding of the market landscape. Your ability to nurture relationships with clients and internal teams alike sets you apart, as you guide enterprises to realize the full value of Contentful's offerings. You thrive in a collaborative environment, partnering with Business Development, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and Marketing to drive customer enablement initiatives.
Desirable
Experience in the CMS or content personalization space is a plus, as is familiarity with enterprise account management. You are comfortable negotiating and closing deals ranging from $50K to over $1M in annual contract value, demonstrating your ability to adapt to various client needs and business objectives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, positioning, negotiating, and closing new logo and expansion business within North American enterprise accounts. You will consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals by developing and executing account strategies that leverage your strong knowledge of the Martech, DXP, CMS, and personalization platforms. Your consultative approach will enable you to act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring that their business objectives are met and their digital experiences are transformed.
You will execute and document the MEDPICC sales methodology throughout the entire sales cycle, ensuring that deals are qualified and that you achieve stakeholder alignment. Your role will involve regular collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that the solutions provided align with client needs and expectations. You will also be expected to stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge in your sales approach.
