Who you are

You are a modern, data-driven sales leader with a strong understanding of both digital and physical retail environments. You have a proven track record of owning P&L responsibilities and driving strategy in retail channels. Your ability to analyze retail partners deeply allows you to understand their goals and build effective programs that meet sales objectives while fulfilling retailer expectations. You excel at negotiating complex agreements and managing forecast accuracy, fostering a culture of transparency and high performance within your team.

You thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about making a meaningful impact. Your strong communication skills enable you to bridge the gap between sales and other departments, such as Legal and Finance, ensuring that all teams work collaboratively towards common goals. You are comfortable with approximately 50% travel, which allows you to maintain strong relationships with retail partners and drive results in various locations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of the retail channel's P&L, driving strategy and expanding Axon's footprint into major national retailers. You will study your retail partners in great depth, understanding their goals from the buyers at HQ to the in-store departments. Your expertise will help you build scrappy programs that meet sales objectives while fulfilling the expectations of the retailers. You will act as a bridge between Axon's brand and the customer, ensuring that the sales strategy aligns with the company's mission to protect life.

You will negotiate complex Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and manage forecast accuracy, building a culture of transparency and high performance within your team. Your leadership will be crucial in driving real change and fostering collaboration across departments. You will also be responsible for analyzing sales data and market trends to inform your strategies and ensure that Axon remains competitive in the retail space.
