You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the education sector, where you've successfully navigated complex sales cycles and developed strategic territory plans. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders is unmatched, and you thrive in environments where you can take ownership and drive real change. You understand the nuances of the campus market, including higher education and K-12, and are adept at identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts while also acquiring new logos.
You are proactive and relentless in your approach to sales, always seeking out new opportunities and forecasting with precision. Your communication skills allow you to act as a trusted advisor to your clients, guiding them through the adoption of Axon's ecosystem of devices and cloud software. You are comfortable collaborating across multiple teams within the organization to ensure that customer needs are met and that you are delivering value at every stage of the sales process.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive on the Campus team, you will own a defined regional book of mid-size campus customers, executing a territory plan that drives growth through both new logo acquisition and expansion within existing accounts. You will engage with some of the largest and most influential campus customers in the Central U.S., acting as a trusted advisor and steering multi-product, multi-stakeholder opportunities from origination to close. Your role will involve a mix of strategic planning and hands-on execution, ensuring that you are not just waiting for leads but actively seeking them out.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers at your accounts, understanding their needs, and aligning Axon's solutions to meet those needs. Your success will be measured by your ability to forecast accurately and unlock long-term strategic growth for both your territory and the company. You will also collaborate closely with the Director of Sales to ensure alignment on strategy and execution, and you will report on your progress regularly to track your success against established goals.
