Job Description
Who you are
You have a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in CPU-related Architect, RTL, Verification, or Implementation design. Your knowledge of common RISC CPU architecture allows you to bring design concepts to successful silicon. You are familiar with chip digital design flow, including RTL integration, simulation, and low power design, and you have a strong understanding of micro-architecture.
You possess familiarity with technologies such as Symmetric Multi-threading (SMT), ARM/MIPS CPUs, or RISC-V, and you have experience with Symmetric Multi-processing (SMP) and Snoop-based multi-processor architecture. Your ability to work with multi-national teams in leading-edge process nodes is a key asset, and you have a collaborative mindset that thrives in cross-site working environments.
Desirable
A PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering is a plus, as is 5+ years of CPU-related design experience. Familiarity with Foundry, Post-Silicon, FPGA, DVT, and SLT debug will set you apart.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design cost-effective controllers that prioritize high performance, low power consumption, and small area for cellular modems. You will perform CPU development and design integration for the CPU subsystem, focusing on micro-architecture and design of RISC-based CPUs. Your work will involve exploring the latest technologies in processors for 5G applications, ensuring that your designs meet the demands of modern telecommunications.
You will collaborate with multi-national teams, contributing to the development of cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include integrating various components of the CPU design, conducting simulations, and verifying the functionality of your designs. You will also be involved in the implementation phase, ensuring that your designs translate effectively into silicon.
