Who you are

You have a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in CPU-related architecture, RTL, verification, and implementation design. Your strong knowledge of RISC CPU architecture and familiarity with chip digital design flow, including RTL integration and simulation, sets you apart. You understand high-performance techniques and trade-offs in CPU microarchitecture, and you possess the ability to problem-solve and validate your ideas effectively.

With a PhD in a relevant field being a plus, you bring 8+ years of experience to the table, showcasing your strong CPU architecture and microarchitecture knowledge. Your familiarity with symmetric multi-processing (SMP) and snoop-based multi-processor architecture enhances your profile. You also have experience with synthesis, power analysis, and post-silicon debugging, making you a well-rounded candidate for this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design cost-effective controllers with high performance, low power, and small area for cellular modems. You will perform CPU development and design integration for the MIPS CPU subsystem, exploring the latest technologies and conducting fundamental research on new directions in CPU architecture. Your contributions will include analyzing workloads in detail, identifying performance bottlenecks, and leveraging a data-driven approach to trade-offs in CPU design. You will derive architecture and micro-architecture to guide the design/model implementation team, ensuring that your ideas lead to successful silicon outcomes.

You will collaborate with multi-national teams, bringing your expertise to the forefront of cutting-edge process nodes. Your role will involve contributing innovative ideas for advanced CPU performance features and ensuring that the design meets the high standards expected in the industry. You will also engage in cross-site working experiences, enhancing collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.
