Who you are
You have extensive experience in low power SoC architecture and a deep understanding of power-efficient design principles — your expertise allows you to lead and drive the development of efficient bandwidth to power SoC designs. You thrive on challenges and are eager to contribute to the AI revolution, collaborating with a talented team to explore innovative hardware solutions.
Your background includes a proven track record in power optimization, including performance per watt and performance per square millimeter modeling or analysis — you are adept at using existing modeling tools and developing new methodologies to achieve power convergence at the SoC level. You possess strong communication skills and enjoy working in small, fast-moving teams, where you support your colleagues in solving complex architectural challenges.
What you'll do
As a Low Power SoC Hardware Architect, you will independently design and define lower power subsystems for AI engines, focusing on improving power efficiency across various applications. You will collaborate closely with experienced designers, RTL engineers, and software teams to explore the feasibility of innovative ideas and develop proof of concepts that enhance power performance.
Your role will involve driving SoC level power convergence by utilizing existing tools and techniques while also developing state-of-the-art tools and methodologies. You will work with IP architects to implement low power design methodologies and techniques, ensuring that your designs meet the highest standards of efficiency and performance.
You will be responsible for leading discussions on architectural features, RTL changes for low power design, and topologies, contributing to the overall success of the team and the projects you work on. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively will be essential as you navigate the complexities of micro-architecture to system-level architecture.
